Milanese designer Alice Pons looks to traditional corsets, based on original historical designs, and transforms them into thoroughly contemporary pieces through bold and innovative design. The Tudor Corset is an 17th century staple featuring the historical inverted cone shape with its particular straight sides covering the torso all up to the high hips. Adjustable shoulder and back lacing allow the corset to be gradually tightened, ensuring a flattering fit. The Knot Skirt covers the body from the waist down to the toes and features a central knot with a front slit and back pleats, creating soft drapes over the hips. A flowy triangular train adds volume and movement to the back. The skirt has an invisible back zip closure for easy fastening.
