Founded in 2007, Indego Africa is a nonprofit social enterprise propelling the creation, growth, and sustainability of women-owned businesses in Africa. From the fine raffia weaving in their bags to the woodcarving in their homewares, the brand provides women and youth with the vocational skills, business know-how, and pipeline to global markets to become self-sufficient entrepreneurs. The Petal Raffia Plateau is handcrafted in Rwanda with a time-honored weaving technique passed down from generations of artisans.
